Special Giving Opportunities

To support our donors' interests and our community, we offer special giving opportunities, like our popular Matching Grant Program. Each year, The Minneapolis Foundation offers a $1,000 match for contributions from your donor advised funds to local nonprofit. More than 130 donors participated in the Matching Grant program last year. The grants our donors recommended, combined with the Foundation's matching funds, resulted in more than half a million dollars into our community.

From time to time, we also offer innovative ways to use your charitable capital for more than just grants, such as through program related investments.
