Immigration

The Minneapolis Foundation is committed to making Minnesota a welcoming place for all who choose to call it home. In particular, we strive to provide opportunities and resources that promote constructive dialogue on immigration. We do this through community leadership, collaborative initiatives, public awareness, grantmaking, and convening.

Recent Activities
  • We hosted a Minnesota Meeting event on immigration.
  • We developed FAQs (below) on immigration.
  • We awarded Community Grants to organizations serving recent immigrants in the areas of economic development, education, and more.
  • We hosted an art exhibit by immigrant artists.
