STEP 1) Are You Eligible?

Please complete the questionnaire below to determine if your organization or activity is eligible to receive a Community Grant.

QUESTIONNAIRE:

Does the organization/program for which you seek funding:

1. Benefit the residents of Minneapolis?
   If yes, proceed to the next question.
   If no, we're sorry, your organization or program is not eligible for a Community Grant.
   
   
2. Address one of the Foundation's focus areas?
   If yes, proceed to the next question.
   If no, we're sorry, your organization is not eligible for a Community Grant.
   
   
3. Cover one of the fundable activities within one of the Foundation's focus areas: Transforming Education, Promoting Economic Vitality or Building Social Capital?
   If yes, please proceed to STEP 2 Review the Guidelines.
   If no, please contact us to see if there are other opportunities to partner with The Minneapolis Foundation.
   
   
4. If your organization was screened out or denied a grant in the last application round you must wait one year before re-applying for a community grant.
   
   
5. If you have not met required reporting requirements for any grants received from The Minneapolis Foundation, you are not eligible to apply for community grants or other posted funding opportunities.
