Robins Kaplan Miller & Ciresi Foundation for Children

The Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi Foundation for Children was created in October 1998 with a $30 million commitment from the Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi law firm. The gift was a result of fees earned from the $6.6 billion settlement in the Minnesota tobacco lawsuit.

The Foundation's mission is to serve as a catalyst for creative, innovative, and systems-changing programs to achieve a long-term impact in promoting education and equal opportunities for all Minnesota’s children/youth.

Requests are accepted through the Community Grantmaking process of The Minneapolis Foundation.

From its inception through October 1, 2007, the Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi Foundation for Children has approved more than $9,100,000 in grants.
