Requests for Proposals

The Minneapolis Foundation and its funding partners periodically issue Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to generate proposals from community organizations that address a specific issue or topic area. Each RFP has different criteria based on the focus of the fund issuing it, and each has its own application process and deadline.

Current RFPs:
There are currently no RFPs issued. Please check back for the 2010 Santa Anonymous Summer Camp and the Smith-McCarthy RFPs awards.

A community response:
Protecting youth from
violence and victimization

Girls in Action received a grant from a Minneapolis Foundation Request for Proposals. This growing organization helps girls realize the power they have to positively change their lives and their communities. Through this RFP process, hundreds of thousands of dollars were distributed to support organizations on the ground helping young people choose to live peacefully.

The Minneapolis Foundation has taken action in several ways to help stem the tide of youth violence. This RFP was just one of several initiatives to help youth make positive choices and stay safe.
