New Grants Announced (6/23/11)

The Minneapolis Foundation and Greater Twin Cities United Way announced that $430,629 in grants from the donations and matching funds raised through the Minnesota Helps - North Minneapolis Recovery Fund have been awarded to 13 organizations assisting residents affected by last month’s devastating tornado.

The grants will help local agencies continue to meet the basic needs of individual neighborhood residents, provide trauma counseling and social services to children and youth affected by the tornado, connect residents with critical services and provide transportation and mental health support.
