Emerging Philanthropists Address Mental Health in Minnesota

“The need for mental health services is overwhelming, it’s underfunded, and there’s a lot of great work being done to address these issues by organizations in Minnesota,” said Julia Quanrud, past-chair of Fourth Generation – a Minneapolis Foundation program designed to cultivate a new generation of philanthropists.
Every fall, Fourth Generation chooses a community issue to focus on for the year. They research the issue, raise money, and ultimately make grants to local organizations.

Last year, Fourth Generation selected an issue that impacts the lives of many Minnesotans: Mental Health.

Find out how these emerging philanthropists are impacting mental health in our community.
