Nurturing Literacy and the Arts at Talk of the Stacks

Literacy and the arts are cornerstones of a vibrant community, and The Minneapolis Foundation is committed to both. That’s why we’re partnering with Friends of the Hennepin County Library to present Talk of the Stacks, a reading series that connects extraordinary authors with a community of readers at the Library.

The 2017 Talk of the Stacks series features five provocative, vivid writers, including Lisa Ko, who examines immigration, borders and belonging in her prize-winning novel The Leavers, and veteran Star Tribune reporter Chris Riemenschneider, who will celebrate the launch of his new book, First Avenue: Minnesota’s Mainroom.

Talk of the Stacks kicks off in April. Check out the full list of events and authors here.
