MINNEAPOLIS, May 2008 – The Minneapolis Foundation recently appointed Diane L. Thormodsgard to its Board of Trustees:
Diane L. Thormodsgard is vice chairman and head of Wealth Management & Securities Services for U.S. Bancorp. Diane has been with the company since 1978 and, prior to this position, served as president of Corporate Trust and Institutional Trust & Custody Services. Diane serves on the boards of the St. Paul Chamber of Commerce, St. Paul Chamber Orchestra, Minnesota Church Foundation, and Central Corridor Partnership. She is also a member of the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Diane has been honored three times by U.S. Banker magazine in its annual profile of the “Most Powerful Women in Banking.” Diane earned a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Arts degree in mathematics, economics, and accounting from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa. She resides in Plymouth, Minn., with her husband.
