Eligibility and Guidelines
  • Grants will be awarded to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations or groups fiscally sponsored by a 501(c)(3).
  • Funding will be awarded to organizations that support residents in the seven-county Twin Cities metro area. Preference will be given to work that supports Minneapolis residents.
  • Grant awards will range in size based on available resources, with a minimum award of $10,000. We anticipate being able to offer a limited number of larger awards.
  • Grant decisions will be made by our staff on a rolling basis during the coming weeks under the leadership of Chanda Smith Baker, Senior Vice President of Impact.
  • Grantees will be required to submit a brief narrative report and an itemized budget at the conclusion of the grant period.

The Foundation’s online portal for this funding opportunity will be closed at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 21.
