Seeding Cultural Treasures

Regional Cultural Treasures, an initiative for which the Minneapolis Foundation was honored to serve as a grant administrator, is taking its next step. Seeding Cultural Treasures will cultivate the landscape of emerging arts and culture organizations run by and for Black, Indigenous, and other people of color through grants administered by Propel Nonprofits.

Regional Cultural Treasures

A $12.6 million regional initiative of America’s Cultural Treasures will provide new funding for Black, Indigenous, Latinx, and Asian American-led arts organizations. The funding, to be distributed in two phases, is made possible by a collaboration of the McKnight, Ford, Bush and Jerome Foundations. The Minneapolis Foundation will administer the Regional Cultural Treasures grants.
