Unlocking Doors to Fair and Affordable Housing
This year, the Minneapolis Foundation is deploying the OneMPLS Fund to help address our region’s ongoing housing crisis. Our latest OneMPLS grant round supported six organizations doing important work to not only preserve and create affordable housing, but also to address the root causes of housing inequality. On Oct. 12, 2023, we hosted a learning collaborative for fundholders and other community partners who care about this issue.
Unlocking Doors to Affordable Housing featured a panel of local experts, including Will Delaney of Hope Community; Nelima Sitati Munene of African Career, Education & Resources Inc.; and Ben Horowitz, a senior policy analyst at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis.
